The challenge

Wheels India faced significant challenges in managing and streamlining their plate cutting unit operations. The existing manual processes were inefficient and prone to errors, leading to delays and inaccuracies in tracking and managing plate inventory and cutting schedules. This inefficiency hindered productivity, increased operational costs, and reduced overall workflow efficiency, making it difficult to maintain optimal production levels and meet demand consistently.

What we built

Kirshi developed a QR-based mobile solution for Wheels India to automate their plate cutting unit operations. This solution enabled real-time tracking and management of plate inventory and cutting schedules through QR code scanning, significantly reducing manual errors and enhancing operational efficiency. By implementing this mobile solution, Wheels India streamlined their internal processes, improved accuracy, and increased productivity. The automated system provided better visibility and control over the production workflow, ensuring timely and efficient operations, ultimately leading to cost savings and improved output.

Outcome

The system went live on schedule and is in active use today. As with every Kirshi Technologies engagement, delivery was sprint-based with measurable milestones at each stage, and Wheels India retained full intellectual property ownership of all custom code from day one.
