The challenge

Datum Singapore faced significant challenges in monitoring agricultural farm data and managing door access efficiently. Their existing system, which relied on multiple disparate sensors, lacked a centralised platform to collect, analyse, and display data. This fragmentation made it difficult to gain comprehensive insights into farm conditions and security status in real time, leading to inefficiencies and potential security risks. Without an integrated mobile solution, managing and interpreting data from various sensors was cumbersome and prone to errors.

What we built

Kirshi developed a comprehensive mobile app for Datum Singapore, designed to integrate and collect data from multiple sensors used for monitoring agricultural farm conditions and door access. This app provided a centralised platform where users could view real-time data on soil moisture, temperature, humidity, and security status, all from a single, intuitive interface. By leveraging IoT connectivity, the app ensured seamless data aggregation and analysis, enabling users to make informed decisions quickly and efficiently. This solution significantly improved the monitoring process, enhanced security management, and streamlined operations, addressing the inefficiencies and risks posed by the previous fragmented system.

Outcome

The system went live on schedule and is in active use today. As with every Kirshi Technologies engagement, delivery was sprint-based with measurable milestones at each stage, and Datum Singapore retained full intellectual property ownership of all custom code from day one.
